The Brookings Police Department is administered by the Chief of Police, with the assistance of one Lieutenant and two Sergeants.  The Department is comprised of the following divisions:

911 Emergency Dispatch

Canine (K-9) Unit

by two volunteer groups:

The Brookings Police Department is located just east of the intersection of U.S. Hwy 101 and Fifth Street in the City Hall building. It is staffed and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and also serves as the Southern Curry County Emergency 911 Dispatch Center.
