The Brookings Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, one Lieutenant, two Sergeants, and 20 full-time employees, including:

The Brookings Police Department is located just east of the intersection of U.S. Hwy 101 and Fifth Street in the City Hall buidling. It is staffed and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and also serves as the Southern Curry County Emergency 911 Dispatch Center.
