The Brookings Police Department provides 24-hour a day, seven days a week patrol of the City by uniformed officers in marked patrol units. These officers respond to a variety of police and emergency calls and provide assistance to five fire departments, ambulance crews, the Curry County Sheriff's Department, U.S. Forest Service, United States Coast Guard, and the Oregon State Police. 

The Patrol Division is the most tasked unit within the Police Department.
