Bud Cross Park

The Major Recreational Park of Brookings

Bud Cross Park was named for the former long-time Chief of Police, Bud Cross. Located at Third Street and Ransom Avenue, it was dedicated to the City in 1978.

Bud Cross park is the major recreational park of Brookings.  It contains Little League baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and the municipal swimming pool

Thanks to the generosity of the citizens of Brookings, we also have a skate park, dedicated May 2002.

As you can see, this is a busy park!  Kids of all ages play here.

Tennis Courts

Four tennis courts and a backboard are kept busy by avid players of all caliber. Courts are on a first come, first served basis.

Basketball Courts

A basketball court is provided for a quick game of pickup or a hard-fought game.  Courts are on a first come, first served basis.

Little League Baseball Fields

Two little league fields are kept busy during spring and summer hosting the Brookings-Harbor Little League Association.  In July Little League welcomes teams from the southern Oregon area for the All-Star Tournament.
