The
Administrative Services Department
is responsible for all financial accounting,
utility and assessment billing, accounts receivable and payable,
pool supervision, budgeting, auditing, payroll, investments,
banking, purchasing, phone services, computer services, janitorial
services, personnel functions, and serves as the business reception center
for the City.

Business Licenses
 Guidelines
Application
A business license is required to
conduct business within the City limits of Brookings.
The annual fees are determined by location (within or outside the
City limits) and number of employees.
Annual Base Fee:
Within City Limits:
$60.00/1-10 employees
Outside City Limits: $75.00
Annual
business license renewals are due by July 30th of each

Water and Sewer Account
Services
Customers need to visit
the Administrative Services in City Hall in order to connect or
disconnect service.
A service deposit is required to open a new
account.
Billing
occurs by the fifth working day of the month following service.
Payments are due by the 25th of the month.
