With its tide pools, sandy beaches, meandering foliage covered path, wooden bridge, and panoramic 360 degree views, a trip to the Point never disappoints. Visitors to the park can view native seals on the rocky outcroppings, a distant St. George's Reef Lighthouse and during the season, whales!

Photo from the bluff at Chetco Point ParkPicnic tables are available in the park area which is also ADA accessible. The trail winds its way up to the bluff where panaromic views await!  Lush foliage is abundant and wild flowers flourish from April through October.

In order to provide visitors access to the natural, breathtaking beauty of Chetco Point Park, the City impacts its nearly nine acres as minimally as possible.

Still visible are pilings and rock portions of the old wharf where the first locomotive and rail cars were brought into Brookings.
