Outdoor Water Use

During the summer each of us uses about 250 gallons of water a day - that's more than twice the normal winter usage.  Why the big difference?  Warmer, dryer weather, even on the Oregon Coast, means using more water outdoors.  Sound water conservation practices are important to use all year long, but in the summer months, as temperatures rise and water levels fall, they're especially vital.

Below, you'll find a couple of projects, some useful tips and guides, and a few informative links all geared to help you incorporate water conservation during those critical summer months and  into your daily life.
